The Point of Honor (POH) grounds are open daily, from dawn to dusk. No trespassing is allowed before dawn or after dusk, except during special events sponsored by either POH, Inc., or the Lynchburg Museum System.
Alcoholic beverages may only be served and consumed on POH grounds during special events and with prior written approval of the Director of the Lynchburg Museum System. Servers must obey all applicable Virginia ABC laws and regulations.
The use of smoking materials, vaping devices, or illicit drugs and other controlled substances is strictly prohibited.
Harassing use of firearms or other weapons is prohibited.
Pets must be restrained and on a leash at all times. Owners must pick up after their pets.
The amplification of music, speeches, or any other sound is prohibited except during special events sponsored by either POH, Inc., or the Lynchburg Museum System.
Motorized vehicles are prohibited except in designated parking areas or by permit.
Visitors are responsible for properly disposing of all trash and litter. No glass containers are allowed.
The collection, destruction, and/or removal of plants, animals, minerals, or historical/cultural items are strictly forbidden. Metal detecting, relic hunting, and digging for artifacts are prohibited.
No camping or open fires are permitted except during special events sponsored by either POH, Inc., or the Lynchburg Museum System.
